Who the British Fires Bramshaw Electric Stove suits best
The Bramshaw is the most flexible fire in the range: one stove, three lives, freestanding on its base, raised on a log base, or hung flat on the wall. That last option is the special one, giving a small room the glow of a stove with the footprint of a picture. Compact rooms, studies and modern flats get the most from it.
From the survey
Installation notes for the British Fires Bramshaw Electric Stove
Freestanding needs nothing but a socket. Wall-hung is a proper fixing job into suitable structure, which we do with the cable concealed for the floating look. The 2kW heater with two settings covers real warmth, and at 400mm wide it fits walls and corners nothing else in the range would.
An honest steer
How it compares with similar models
Against the Ashurst it trades a little height for the wall-hung trick and a slimmer 310mm depth. Against the Cube and Hinton it is the space-saver, and with 2kW it matches the Ashurst for warmth. If floor space is the constraint, the Bramshaw is the answer in the range.
Fitting it locally
Fitting the British Fires Bramshaw Electric Stove in Yorkshire homes
The wall-hung format solves rooms we see all over the corridor: box rooms turned snugs, narrow terrace rooms in Leeds and York, and holiday lets where floor space is money. No flue, no clearances, no smoke control rules.

Common questions
British Fires Bramshaw Electric Stove FAQs
Can the Bramshaw really hang on the wall?
Yes, wall mounting is one of its three formats, alongside freestanding on the base stand or raised on the log base. Wall-hung, it takes no floor space at all, and we fix it into proper structure with the cable concealed.
Is the Bramshaw powerful enough to heat a room?
It carries a 2kW heater with 1kW and 2kW settings, the top output in the electric stove range, comfortably warming the compact rooms it is designed for.
How slim is the Bramshaw?
Just 400mm wide and 310mm deep, the smallest footprint in the range, which is exactly why we recommend it for narrow rooms and tight corners.
Which format should I choose?
Freestanding suits a fireplace or corner, the log base adds height and character, and wall-hung wins where floor space is precious. We help you choose on the survey, and the fire is the same in all three.
