We work from the architecture, the proportions and the character of the house, then the stone is cut and hand finished to those sizes. Nothing here has a standard size, because made to measure is the starting point rather than an upgrade.

A complete installation, meaning the fireplace, the hearth, the chamber, the stove, the flue, the liner and the HETAS registered fit, has come out between £6,910 and £11,750 on the examples shown here. Each one is handcrafted to order, so it is not an off the shelf lead time. We give you a realistic date at the survey, once the design, the stone and the stove are settled.

Yes. Carl Finnell is HETAS registered, so the fireplace, chamber, hearth, stove and flue are all handled by the same team and the installation is certified and notified to Building Control.
