Who the British Fires Brockenhurst Electric Suite suits best
The Brockenhurst is the complete fireplace in one decision: a New Forest fire already framed in a floating, wall-hung marble-effect surround. It suits rooms with no fireplace at all, where it creates one against a flat wall in a day, and anyone who wants the finished designer look without composing fire, surround and hearth separately.
From the survey
Installation notes for the British Fires Brockenhurst Electric Suite
As a wall-hung suite it fixes to the wall structure with the recess and wiring concealed behind, so the flat-wall installation is far simpler than building a media wall. Three widths from 1400mm to 2130mm and two heights let us match it to the wall, and the white or grey marbling is chosen against your room, samples in hand.
An honest steer
How it compares with similar models
The Winchester is its sibling with a more architectural header-and-base composition; the Holbury is the inset-style suite that sits into rather than onto the wall. All three are built around the same New Forest fire, so the flame picture is constant and the choice is purely the frame. Against a bespoke media wall, a suite is faster and usually more affordable.
Fitting it locally
Fitting the British Fires Brockenhurst Electric Suite in Yorkshire homes
Our suggestion for the newer estates across the corridor, where living rooms often have no chimney breast at all: the Brockenhurst creates the focal point the room was built without, floating on the main wall with nothing structural required.

Common questions
British Fires Brockenhurst Electric Suite FAQs
What is included with the Brockenhurst suite?
The complete piece: the New Forest electric fire and the wall-hung marble-effect surround as one designed unit, in your choice of three widths, two heights and white or grey marbling.
Does the Brockenhurst need a chimney breast?
No, the opposite: it is designed for flat walls in rooms with no fireplace, hanging on the wall with the wiring concealed behind it.
Is the surround real marble?
It is a lightweight marble-effect finish, which is what makes a wall-hung format possible at all. The look is convincing and the weight stays manageable for the wall.
How does a suite compare with a media wall?
A suite is quicker, tidier and usually cheaper: one fixing job instead of a stud-wall build. A media wall wins when you want the TV integrated above the fire. We price both honestly on the survey.
