British Fires Cube Electric Stove

The Cube is the contemporary freestanding statement of the electric range: a 600mm square of 6mm steel that gives a room the presence of a serious stove with none of the flue work. It suits modern interiors, apartments and any room where you want the stove-as-object look, and the optional log store base lifts it to a metre of sculptural presence.

Installation is refreshingly simple: a firm level position and a supply. The optional stove pipe adds the classic silhouette without any real flue, and the log store base raises the fire to eye-catching height. No hearth is required by regulation, though we often set it on a stone or steel plate to ground it visually.

Against the Hinton, the Cube is modern where the Hinton is classic cast iron. Against a real woodburner like the Fire FX Atlas, the Cube trades the real flame for zero flue cost and zero maintenance, a genuine consideration in flats and homes where a flue route is impractical. Both routes get an honest hearing on the survey.
