Fire FX Atmos 105R Electric Fire

The Atmos 105R is the compact model in the media wall family, and the right pick in two situations: a media wall in a smaller room where the bigger widths would swamp the wall, and an inset installation into an existing chimney breast, where its 1050mm width often fits between the corbels with modest building work.

Like all four Atmos sizes it runs authentic flame visuals with or without its 1.5kW heat, so it earns its place in summer too.

At just 140mm deep the 105R sits inside a standard stud wall build, which keeps the media wall slim. We plan the wall, the recess, the TV position above and the routing of a fused spur together, with the electrical connection made by a qualified electrician where needed. In a chimney breast installation we form the opening and make good around it.

The four Atmos models are identical apart from width and price, stepping up through 1050mm, 1350mm, 1650mm and 1950mm. The honest rule is to match the fire to the wall and the TV above it: the fire should be at least as wide as the screen, or the proportions look wrong. In a small room the 105R keeps everything balanced.

The 105R is the width we recommend most for the chimney breasts of Leeds and Wakefield terraces, where a media wall look is wanted inside an existing alcove-to-alcove span without rebuilding the room. No flue, no smoke control considerations, and a slim 140mm depth.
