ACR Woodpecker
The ACR Woodpecker WP5 stove is designed to burn both seasoned wood and smokeless fuels. The appliance is DEFRA approved for use in smoke control areas and offers excellent efficiency with economical running costs, making the WP5 an ideal choice for both town and countryside homes.
Improved tertiary air technology within the firebox ensures a hotter, more controllable and therefore cleaner burn, improving combustion and efficiency while reducing harmful emissions. The large viewing pane is kept clear by a preheated airwash system, helping to keep the glass cleaner for longer so you can enjoy a the lazy, relaxing flame picture within your new ACR Woodpecker stove.
When purchased through Carl Finnell stoves and fireplaces, an authorised ACR dealer, every stove in the Woodpecker range is backed by a 5-year casting warranty for complete peace of mind. The range also meets the latest Ecodesign standards, delivering lower emissions, greater efficiency and reduced fuel consumption for a cleaner, more environmentally friendly way to heat your home.

We never compromise on the quality of the materials used in our stove installations. Every component is carefully selected to ensure it delivers both lasting performance and a premium finish.
Unlike some lower-cost package deals, which may include riven black limestone paving slabs intended for external landscaping, we supply hearths specifically manufactured for fireplace installations. Our hearths are precision finished with clean, smooth edges and are designed to complement the quality of the stove and the surrounding fireplace.
The result is a durable, elegant hearth that not only performs exceptionally well but also enhances the overall appearance of your fireplace for many years to come.

Our most popular upgrade is the Antique Leather black granite hearth, featuring a subtle textured matt finish that complements both traditional and modern interiors. Particularly well suited to wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves, its lightly textured surface helps disguise the small marks and dust created when refuelling, while remaining easy to wipe clean.
The rich matt black finish provides a timeless, neutral appearance that works beautifully with virtually any fireplace surround or interior colour scheme.
As standard, the installation includes a paintable, non-combustible Firecase chamber, providing a modern finish that can be decorated to complement your room.

The finishing touch
As standard, the installation includes a natural oak beam fascia, measuring 1220mm x 140mm x 35mm, providing a clean and elegant finish above the stove chamber.
Both options are crafted from high-quality natural oak, bringing warmth, texture and timeless appeal to the fireplace. The clean lines of the fascia suit contemporary interiors, while the deeper solid beam works particularly well where a more traditional mantelpiece is desired.
For a more substantial feature, you can upgrade to a solid natural oak beam, measuring 1220mm x 130mm x 110mm. Its greater depth creates a traditional mantel shelf, adding character to the fireplace while providing space to display photographs, ornaments or seasonal decorations.
