No. The BG and the standard T550 are the same price, so the choice between classic face and black glass is purely about which suits your room.
How wide is the view of the fire on the T550 BG?
The stove is 620mm wide overall in the 18 inch opening format, giving the widest flame picture of the ACR cassette family, kept clear in normal use by the airwash system.
Can the T550 BG go into a wall with no chimney?
A cassette needs a proper flue route, so in a home with no chimney it requires a purpose-built chamber and twin-wall flue, which is a bigger job than a chimney installation. We assess the options honestly on the survey.
What warranty comes with the T550 BG?
The full 10 year ACR warranty, the same cover as the rest of the ACR cassette and cast iron ranges. We handle the handover paperwork when we commission the stove.
