Installation notes for the ACR Woodpecker WP5 Multifuel Stove
At 420mm wide and 70kg it is one of the easiest stoves to place: compact chambers, tight terraced fireplaces and smaller cottage openings all take it comfortably. The 125mm flue and 12mm decorative hearth keep the fitting simple, and despite the compact body it still takes a full 40cm log.

Can the WP5 burn coal?
It burns authorised smokeless fuels including anthracite, alongside seasoned logs. Traditional house coal is not suitable for modern stoves, and in smoke control areas the DEFRA exemption covers your wood burning.
What log length does the WP5 take?
A full 40cm log, despite the compact body, so standard-cut firewood goes straight in. That practical firebox is a big part of why it is our most recommended everyday stove.
