From the survey
Installation notes for the CF1 Woodburning Stove
Designed for exceptional controllability, the CF1 features primary, secondary and tertiary air systems, delivering a hotter, cleaner and more efficient burn. The advanced combustion technology maximises heat output while reducing emissions, helping you get the very best performance from every log.
A large panoramic viewing window, combined with a powerful airwash system, keeps the glass cleaner for longer, providing an uninterrupted view of the flames and allowing you to fully enjoy the ambience of a real wood fire.
The minimum recommended fireplace chamber width is 620mm. However, for the best aesthetic balance and to allow the stove to become a true focal point, we recommend a chamber width of 850mm. To accommodate this, the masonry chimney breast should ideally be no less than 1250mm wide.
As every property is different, we strongly recommend arranging a home survey before purchasing any solid fuel appliance. Our survey enables us to assess your existing fireplace and chimney, confirm suitability, discuss design options, and ensure your installation complies with all current building regulations and HETAS requirements.
The CF1 is manufactured to the highest standards and carries a 10-year casting warranty, terms and conditions apply, when purchased through an authorised dealer. It also meets the stringent 2022 Ecodesign standards and is approved by HETAS, ensuring higher efficiency, lower emissions and a reduced environmental impact for cleaner, more sustainable home heating.
Common questions
CF1 Woodburning Stove FAQs
What size room does the CF1 suit?
It is matched to a standard UK living room of roughly 4 metres square with a 2.4 metre ceiling. Room size is only part of it though, insulation, ceiling height and how open the space is all change the answer, which is what the home survey is for.
What chamber width does the CF1 need?
The minimum is 620mm, but we recommend 850mm for the best proportions. That usually means a masonry chimney breast of at least 1250mm wide.
Is the CF1 the same stove as the one in the summer offer?
Yes. The CF1 is the stove in our subsidised summer stove offer, where it is supplied as a complete installed package. This page covers the appliance itself.
