From the survey

Installation notes for the CF2 Woodburning Stove

Designed for exceptional controllability, the CF2 features primary, secondary and tertiary air systems, delivering a hotter, cleaner and more efficient burn. The advanced combustion technology maximises heat output while reducing emissions, helping you get the very best performance from every log.

A large panoramic viewing window, combined with a powerful airwash system, keeps the glass cleaner for longer, providing an uninterrupted view of the flames and allowing you to fully enjoy the ambience of a real wood fire.

The minimum recommended fireplace chamber width is 500mm. However, for the best aesthetic balance and to allow the stove to become a true focal point, we recommend a chamber width of 700mm. To accommodate this, the masonry chimney breast should ideally be no less than 1100mm wide.

As every property is different, we strongly recommend arranging a home survey before purchasing any solid fuel appliance. Our survey enables us to assess your existing fireplace and chimney, confirm suitability, discuss design options, and ensure your installation complies with all current building regulations and HETAS requirements.

The CF2 is manufactured to the highest standards and carries a 10-year casting warranty, terms and conditions apply, when purchased through an authorised dealer. It also meets the stringent 2022 Ecodesign standards and is approved by HETAS, ensuring higher efficiency, lower emissions and a reduced environmental impact for cleaner, more sustainable home heating.

Common questions

CF2 Woodburning Stove FAQs

Will the CF2 fit a small fireplace?

That is exactly what it is for. The minimum chamber width is 500mm, with 700mm recommended for the best look, so it goes where a wider stove will not.

Is a smaller stove less efficient?

Not here. The CF2 is actually the most efficient stove in the CF range at 84.4%, slightly ahead of the CF1 and comfortably ahead of the CF3.

How does the CF2 compare with the CF1?

Same 5kW nominal output, smaller body. The CF2 is 500mm high and 390mm wide against the CF1 at 560mm by 520mm, and it is 22kg lighter. Choose the CF2 for a compact chamber, the CF1 where you want more presence.
