The Caistor Oak Fireplace Surround

The Caistor is particularly well suited to rooms that need a more traditional timber fireplace, where Georgian-inspired moulding, fluted legs and carved capitals can sit comfortably with period joinery or classic furniture.

It works well around woodburning, multi-fuel or electric stove installations, especially when paired with a granite or stone hearth and a brick, stone or porcelain-lined chamber.

The fireplace shown can be supplied as a complete package including the Caistor fireplace in waxed oak, an ACR Oakdale cast iron 5kW wood and multifuel stove, vitreous enamel flue pipe, chimney closure plate and flue liner adaptor, Antique Leather black granite hearth and chamber base, matching granite border slips with finished polished edges, Dark Walnut porcelain ribbed chamber, up to 10 metres of 316-grade flexible stainless steel chimney liner, and a rain cap and bird guard chimney cowl.

The surround can be supplied unwaxed, allowing you to apply a wax or stain finish of your choice to complement your interior decor and preferred colour scheme.

For a bespoke finish, the surround can also be supplied unfinished so you can apply your own wax or stain. For best results, Fiddes wax finishes are recommended and are available in a wide range of traditional and contemporary colours.
